4k2k – UHD TFT Panel – 4 times higher pixel density than HD
UHD (=Ultra High Definition) displays with an extremely high resolution - from now on available for industrial applications by Innolux (CMI). 4-times higher resolution and pixel density.
Until now 4k/UHD displays with an incomprehensible high resolution of 3840 x 2.160 pixels, were only available for private users in flat screen televisions.
UHD LCD panels by Innolux are applicable for your individual industrial applications - NOW.
Technics
The new Innolux 4k2k UHD LCD panels have a multichannel "V by One" interface. There is no current industrial single board computer available for this new interface. But of course fitting UHD controller kits (with cables & power supply) are available at distronik.
With this kit, nearly every embedded PC Box (of course 4k supporting computers as well) or MINI-ITX-Boards can control Ultra High Definition panels via HDMI 1.4 interface
The only restriction of the controller kit solution is the frame rate of "only" 30 Hz (30 pictures per second). This complies the HDMI 1.4 standard.
Current graphic cards support HDMI 1.4 with 3.840 x 2.160 pixels and 30 Hz:
- AMD: HD7750/7790
- NVIDIA GTX670
- Intel HDR4600.
Controller Board DT-UHD-4k2k
With the DT-UHD-4k2k Ultra High Definition control board, every Innolux UHD-4k2k display panel with an resolution of 3.840 x 2.160 pixels can be controlled. The special cables and power supply units are included. The 4k display + control unit combination is immediately ready for use.
